Connected information

Data Engineering & Integration

Connect data sources with maintainable pipelines, clear ownership and checks that expose quality problems.

Reports, applications and AI tools depend on the information behind them. When data is spread across operational systems, files and external services, teams need a dependable way to move and interpret it. Aranya helps define data flows and integrations that support agreed business uses without treating a new platform as an end in itself.

Understand the sources and responsibilities

Discovery can document source systems, data owners, access permissions, update frequency and the meaning of key fields. We examine identifiers, duplicates, missing values and historical changes so that integration decisions reflect the actual condition of the data. A source-to-target map makes transformations and assumptions reviewable.

Build observable data flows

Deliverables may include ingestion pipelines, API integrations, transformation logic and analytical data models. The design should specify how failures are detected, which records can be retried and how duplicate processing is avoided. Quality checks can compare counts, validate expected values and flag unexpected changes before downstream users rely on them.

Documentation can include schedules, lineage, ownership, credentials management responsibilities and recovery procedures. Access should be limited to the information each workflow needs, with retention and deletion requirements agreed with the responsible business teams.

Choose the appropriate level of complexity

Not every integration needs real-time processing or a large data platform. Batch transfers may be sufficient and easier to support. Legacy systems, API limits and inconsistent source definitions can constrain freshness and completeness. We make these trade-offs explicit, test representative data and plan a staged handover. A pipeline cannot correct every business data problem without decisions from the people who own the source process.
